If the leaver moves freely but wont move first check belt is on pulley and if so you have sheared off keyway on the pulley on top of drive axle remove pully replace keyway reinstall

You might have a worn engine pulley. You can manually adjust the drive belt tension by pulling back on the left foot pedal. This worked on mine and is a sign that the pulley V groove has worn to a U groove and the belt looses traction.
