My Westinghouse tv won’t turn on even thought it is plugged in and the orange light is on? I’ve already tried unplugging and replugging it in. Anyone got any different ideas?
Hi i would need more info. what is the model number. its not always the power board it can be a processor fault. and thats the main av board. the processor is what turns on all the parts to start up.

When I hit power button it turns blue then right back to red screen don't try to come on.
Thank you now know its a plasma t, the fault will be the Inverter Board. if you replace this part. at the same time as the main power supply board. its a problem with this model that the inverter blows the power supply at the same it blows its own board. most inverter board power supplies have a fuse on the board that should blow.
is that the Backlight Inverter Master
yes in a away it controls the back light and the t-con controls it as well as the av board.

I just had the TV go out again the power light is on showing red. When unpluged the TV to change the outlet cover.When I pluged it back in the TV power light went from red to blue then right back to red.why would it blow the black light inverter again.
the only reason would be weak board. there are usually repair kits you can buy and repair the board. in a small way they just like HID bulb and ballasts, except for HID they flicker when they start to go wrong. use the board number and look for repair kit. it usually consists of between 4 to 8 parts voltage regulators and transformer chips. as these are the first to go as they get hot and burn out.

used parts you never how long they will last. changing the board parts from the kit usually make the board near to new. plasmas are prone to failing on boards the take 3 boards just to run the screen.
I just had the power company come to my house to put a surge protector back on my house meter. I shot the TV off. When I turned the TV back on it would go blue then back to red what other board could be taking out the inverter board,
the regulator on the power board could be the problem this section on the power board regulates the mains voltage so if there is a over voltage it stops it, if its failing you can get a spike that will take out the weaker board on the inverter side. inverter main board usually will fail on the are the regulators on the heat sinks and usually 2 that are solder to the board on reverse side and the transformer chip on the same side. hope this helps.
I replace both power supply and the black light inverter board. TV on it goes red light power light to blue then 2 seconds goes right back to red I have to unplug TV to try again and it does same thing . So I bote another backlight invertor board and it still does same thin. Any ideas
