I broke my iPhone and I had a back up iPhone and I put my sim card from my broken phone in to the new one and it says my apple id is incorrect when I know its not

Just so you know I have an unlocked Iphone..I use my Iphone with Tmobile...All i did was pop my Tmobile sim card in..I have been using it with Tmobile ever since I got my Iphone(s)...But I had a problem after I took my sim out and put ATT sim card in to try and switch my service..But thanks anyways

Sounds like you have a broken sleep/wake button. If you're out of warranty, there are websites that show you how to open an iphone if you can attempt so DIY it, the button is available on ebay. If you don't want to do it yourself there are third party companies that specialize on iphone repair.

I've tried to lock the iPhone to my tele provider in stead of letting it search for available networks (the automatic option in settings). Seems to work. But I will also get a new sim card. Strange problem though...

The steps are actually outlined on page 119 of the iPhone user manual. But I will just repost it here for your convenience.
Insert the end of a small paper clip (or the SIM eject tool if it came with your iPhone) into the hole of the SIM tray. Press firmly and push it straight in until the tray pops out.
