I had same problem. Unplug set for 10minutes then plug it in and let it go thru it's startup routine.

I'm sorry that the TV is automatically turning OFF after 15 minutes of usage. I suggest that you try connecting the TV to a different wall outlet and check the operation.

If the issue persists, please check whether Timer is activated and reset the TV by unplugging for more than 5 minutes.

If the issue persists, the issue might be due to the over heat. Please check whether the TV get overheated.

In that case, Open the TV and check the Power board has any burning spots. If not, please check the continuity using a multi meter.

Perform the last step only if you have hands-on previous experience on board level electronics troubleshooting. You may also get your nearest service technician to check the Power board. Click hear to locate your nearest service facility.

That isn't a timing control board issue, see if you have PSON voltage for starters, if you do then test the various power supply voltages, it could be either the main or power board giving issues, but I would bet on the power supply is bad since the logo comes stays on

Power is there, but TV won't turn on

stored voltages are high no touching these circuts becuase they hold charges and alot of screws.
fualty capacitors you say after a while it stays on theres a full charge in the unit theres some type of discharging effect on the set after its off for a while. voltage goes to low or unstable after it is off for a while. your better off getting the service docs for this set if you want to diy..other wise get a tv tech to check it for you. hope this helps
