How to change temp control from centigrade to Fahrenheit on frigidaire side by side

Here are some videos, but it looks by doing a search on that model, that you can't change it. Having said that, the manual shows both, but perhaps that is for display.

It doesn't appear to be in the manual. Centigrade is much easier. Fridge at 3'C and Freezer at minus 18'C. Freezing is 0' and boiling is 100'. You can hang an American thermometer inside.

Better to learn Centigrade as it it so simple. 0' is freezing point of water, 100' is boiling, your home needs to18'C

Yes, you are in Centigrade (Celsius) mode. Check your owner's manual for instructions on how to switch between Centigrade and Fahrenheit.

On the indoor panel...hold down the alert button until you hear 2 beeps and see up/down arrows displayed on front (bottom). Use the up/down buttons on the front until you get F instead of C. Push the alert button again so the up/down arrows disappear on the front panel.

You can switch the temperature mode
between Fahrenheit to Centigrade as follows:
While pressing the OFF button, press the
AUTO button for 3 seconds or more.
The display will change from Fahrenheit
to Centigrade, or from Centigrade to
Fahrenheit.

First you have to understand in thermostat there are Fahrenheit & Centigrade degree. If Centigrade between 16 to 30 and if it is Fahrenheit 60 to 86.
If you press the symbol ther> and > (or) ther- and ther+ at a time degree will change.
Now you set your temp +10 degree from your room temp and also keep "heat" mode.

1. Make sure the unit is NOT on lock mode
2. Press reset button for 2 second or until the Flashinf "F" appear on the temperature display or panel.
3. Press Add button to change from Fahrenheit"F" to celius "C".
4. Then press confirm and then cancel button to finish.

Same Guest as above posting this ... By the way, I have a FLSC238DS5 ... I spent 45 minutes on phone w/Frigidaire this afternoon (Phone#: 706-860-4110 Option 1 --> then Option 3). Didn't get anywhere. They say there are 3 solutions that should change it from C to F: 1) In between LED readouts for "Freezer Temp" and "Fresh Food Temp" there is a mode button that is hidden under the plate that you can press w/your finger OR 2) Hold "Fresh Food Temp" Up Arrow Key down, within 5 Seconds press "Freezer Temp" Up Arrow Key 3 times and it should change C to F or vice verse. Didn't work for me so she said 3rd option was to have a service tech come and diagnose. She said there would be a charge. I am not paying to have somebody come here to resolve this issue. That is when I asked her to escalate it to a supervisor which she did. Hopefully, I get a call back & a solution. Stay tuned ...
