SOURCE: Frigidaire Front Load Washer Problem

Plug off the wall, open up the back to check your belt, might have come off. Place around motor pulley & turn the drum wheel to slip on the belt gently from either the right or left. If too loose you have to replace with new belt.

Top loader smells like wirers burning and squealing when spin cycle starts

Hey Tara, I understand that your Frigidaire Top Load Washer is squealing and presenting a burning smell. Is this occurring every time you are using the washer or with random loads? Typically, when you experience the squealing and burning smell it indicates that the washer is possibly overloaded. I would recommend that you stop the washer and reduce the load. If the problem persists, please reach out to a professional technician. Hope this helps! -JK

My front load affinity will not start, says pause

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I see that your Frigidaire washer, FAFW3517KW, is constantly showing you pause, when you press start it flashes the pause again, and that the door lock light does not come on. You could be seeing a couple of different possible reasons this is happening such as your control panel, door lock assembly, or door switch. Since it could be any of the underlying issues I would recommend having a professional come out to the home and repair the washer. -Matt

Frigidaire Affinity ATF7000E Front Load Washer won't stop spinning with 1 minute on timer- it continues until I hit cancel. I don't like to babysit a machine but have to make sure it doesn

If the unit is washing properly, as far as you can tell, but it won't stop spinning, then I would have a professional look at the control panel and timer to be diagnosed because there seems to be in miscommunication.

My frigidaire front load washer will not start. anytime I push a button on the front panel the "LOL" sign flashes. on the front of the washer panel d wash rinse final spin control lights are...

Is the message "LOL" or "LOC"? I suspect the child lock "LOC" has been activated. To toggle this off, press and hold Options and Select for 10+ seconds. This feature prevents someone from accidently starting or changing a cycle selection.

There is a small padlock icon in the middle of lines linking the two buttons that let you toggle the child lock on and off.

There are two Frigidaire washers with the model ATF6000ES (the S is followed by a 0 or a 1). The manuals for both are available here: http://www.frigidaire.com/manuals?model=ATF6000ES . The child lock feature is described in the Operating Instructions. For the ATF6000ES0, the direct link to the appropriate manual is http://manuals.frigidaire.com/prodinfo_pdf/Webster/134604400.pdf . See page 2 under Washer Features.

I hope this helps.

Washer does not spin, has a burning smell. took off front panel. motor pulley feels hot, so does belt. replaced belt 6/09. only wash one load per week. where is the burning smell coming from?

This sounds like a frigidaire washer. If it is, the belt must be the original equipment manufacturers belt. ANY other belt will just slip and burn. The fact that the pulley and the belt were both hot tells me that either the belt is the issue or your main tub bearing is starting to seize.

Frigidaire affinity atf6000es1 - control panel locked

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This is the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

Works for other machines hope it may for you..............And please rate me if helped

Frigidaire Gallery trouble

Took off the front panel, opened up the hoses to the pump, found a small metal magnet from my son's pocket that had been stuck in the pump. Once it was removed, the washer worked just fine.
