SOURCE: Dewalt 744 type 1 table saw wouldn't run unless I

Hi,
Before doing anything else I would clean the commutator ring...it is possible that it is so dirty, that even with the new brushes the current is still not being transferred properly...

Do a simple search fro "clean commutator ring" or "How to clean a commutator" and you will get many sites that give good information and many different ways to clean that up...I think that may be all that you need to do yet.

Why won't my DeWalt DC618K air nailer fire?

Without inspecting tool, it would be hard to definitely tell what part, I would call Dewalt, they will be glad to help you. You do not want to throw parts at it.

I'm looking for an online manual for the DeWalt oscellating 315 multi tool

Dewalt has a number of products with 315 in them. Most Dewalt tool manuals are available here: http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Home . There is the DWE315K ocillating multi-tool; see http://servicenet.dewalt.com/Products/Detail?isId=true&productNumber=DWE315K&selectedType=25371 . Dewalt has a type 1 and a type 2 with the DWE315K model number. The direct link to the manual for Type 1 is http://documents.dewalt.com/documents/English/Instruction%20Manual/N252379,DWE315.pdf .

Please look at the product again and check the full model number and the type information. Add a comment if you have a different oscillating tool model.

I hope this helps.

Hello my dewalt dc618 wont fire its bands and belts are all good.it tries to fire but only when no nails a in it.i think the driver is worn can you help thanks.

I've been using dewalt tools exclusively for 15 years. I've fixed numerous drivers, sawzals, etc. I've learn 3 things over and over again. 1 cleaning & lubing are grossly under rated, 2 if one part goes the rest are not far behind & 3 it has never cost me more than $20 to $30 bucks more to have the repair place rebuild it than to fix it myself. And most times they give you a new bulk packaged tool as a rebuilt. My recommendation: have it rebuilt...enjoy the new tool.

When you try and fire the nailer, all I get is a puff of air out around the trigger area and no nailing. The problem started with low power and then finally quit. O-rings? Help Ed

Yes it is most likely the o-ring has gone bad. I would suggest that instead of just buying one O-Ring you purchase the o-ring Kit You can order them Here

You need to look at the model plate and see if you have a Type 1, 2, 3, Or 4
