I have an epic 2980 that was moved from one room to another but now it will not start.

the main board might be damaged due to the damp and cold. the boards don't like wet and damp places as it can damage the copper on the boards causing them to go green and be eaten away, you may be able to repair the board using bridges and repairing the damage.

If the resistance worked before you moved it to where it is now then it's almost certainly a wiring issue. Make sure that each connection that was taken apart is perfect and that each pin is not bent. Make sure that all of the wiring moves freely and there is no pinch. If all of that is correct then it's most likely the resistance motor.

Pleae do it carefully to avoid any injury. Try that another person get involved, and use Belt for your self. Use some protect equipment gloves, plactic for to protec the equipment.

You should be able to just lift up the base and fold it into the supports,

We had the same problem and just figured it out. At the beginning of the game, you must destroy the two big machine with spin moves. After you destroy the second machine that Gus tells you to and explore the room go back to the second machine and meet Gus - he will take you to the next corridor where you will have paint and thinner, and a quick lesson on how to use them. Then, it's onto the next "level" with your brush and pots of paint and thinner that can be replenished when you find more hidden in barrels, etc.
