If water is leaking only during the times when it is supposed to be coming in , then the first places to check are at the hose connections and the hoses themselves. If it continues to leak after the water stops coming in , then you have to look at the drain connection and finally at the drum seal.

If you mean the water runs or drains out during the cycle, the drain hose is too low. It should be as high as the top of the machine. If you mean the water leaks out onto the floor, then it could be a hose has a hole, or the pump is leaking.

The pumps usually have rubber hoses fitted them and they can deteriorate over time, moreso around the clamps that hold them onto the pump. Also, maybe the pump has been slightly opened via a worn seal. Either way, there may be a risk of fire if any water gets onto the electrical connections of the pump or spray onto any other open electrical connection inside the machine. It would certainly be advisable to have it checked with some urgency.
During the final rinse and spin, I would think the pump may not be used during these cycles.
