The belt is broken and needs to be checked for any other part that has failed causing the belt to burn.

Unless your front loader is set firmly on concrete
and leveled to perfection, the force of a heavy wash load spinning in
excess of 1000rpm will create a bit of vibration and noise.A firm footing is your best defense against to much movement.
Also due to the earlier movements during the spin cycle, the
shocks that are used to dampen the spin cycle might have been broken or
damaged.
If the problem persists inspite of proper levelling, please do check for the shocks or might have them replaced them for good.

Something locked up on the transmission then the drive belt broke. Put on a new belt and try a spin cycle, if it works but it won't agitate then the trans will need replaced.

Magnetron is done. This part heats the food. GE microwaves tend to have them stop working quite frequently. They basically make up the majority of the cost of the microwave, so instead of replacing the magnetron, you would be better off getting a new microwave.
