I have a N.G. 265NC (2009) and have found it will every once in a while stop transmitting for a short time. One time the remote transmitter plug ins got damp as I had snow that melted near where its plugged in and stopped the signal. And another time the signal was lost because the remote plugin was not making a good connection I unplugged then plugged back in and it worked okay. Do what was said above or below first then make sure all your connections are good because the voltage on those instruments connections is very low and a minute bit of oxidation will stop the signal
There is a battery in both the transmitter and receiver. If either one of them is weak then it won't sync. I would try replacing the transmitter battery first.

be shure that you have fresh AA battries in both the reciver and the probe.. also first power up the reciver befor you install the software.
In some of these weather stations, you have to install the batteries in the transmitter first and then the weather station within a certain time limit. Also, the weather station must be within a specified distance from the transmitter when replacing the batteries.
If you look on the weather station, there should be a make and model number. If you have that, you can visit the website (if there is one) and download an instruction booklet for your model.
