Check how long the display stays active - and if it has Smart Stay - turn that on
Sounds like a battery saver app setting. Disable your battery saver app(s) and if the problem goes away then there is where the problem lies. You'll need to open the app and look at/change the settings.

Mustaq Mahomed, he said the problem was on a nextbook 11.6 tablet, what more info would you require? I would never style myself an "expert" but as someone who has owned one of these beasts for a couple of years, I'm getting pretty familiar with its quirks.

Obviously, it's defective. No "progammable" activity can repair this kind of problem.
If on warranty, should be serviced free. Else, take it to an authorized repair service.
