SOURCE: oven shelve falls

Do you have the shelves going in the right way? Just have to ask. If so then yes your interior stove walls expanded but I've never heard of this.

Frigidaire Freezer model FFFU14M1QWD Serial #WB52234224. what kind of defrost would this item be?

I just now looked up your freezer at searspartsdirect.com . There I am able to put in the model number and they show me a complete break down of that appliance. For your freezer I can see that the evaporator coil is the actual shelves of the freezer. So to defrost that freezer. It would have to be manually. Either turn it off or unplug. Put a towel in the door and close it. In 24 hours it will be defrosted. Or use a hair dryer or better yet a hand steamer to thaw it. Just don't use anything pointed on the shelves. If you poke a hole in the Evap coil all your freon will leak out.

When I open the refrigerator the freezer pops open

I appreciate your inquiry, Tammy McAninch!

Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire freezer door pops open when you open your refrigerator door. This can happen with new refrigerators because the seal is new. I understand your question is labeled under model FGHB2866PF. It could be issues with your door not aligned properly and hitting your freezer door to open. I would check the gasket to make sure they are creating the proper seal on your freezer in order to check that you can use a dollar bill. Place a dollar bill between the body of the freezer and close the door. The dollar bill should stay in place and pull out with a small amount of resistance. If the dollar bill falls out when placed between the gasket and cabinet double check to see if the door is being blocked by anything stopping it from closing it. If nothing is stopping the door from closing then replace the gasket. If you continue to experience issues with your freezer door I would recommend reaching out to a professional for further assistance. I hope this information helps to some degree. -Matt

Where is the drain hole for this model

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are looking for the drain hole on your Frigidaire refrigerator, model# FFHT1725PS, due to water building up on the shelves inside your refrigerator. There technically is no drain in your refrigerator. There is a drip pan, which collects water from the condenser underneath your appliance. There are some possibilities that are causing the water to build up on the shelves. First, make sure that all containers are covered. Condensation can evaporate from opened containers and create water on the walls and shelves. Secondly, make sure that the drawers that have your fruits and vegetables are completely closed and set to the correct setting. Fruits and vegetables are full of water. Thirdly, check to make sure that your doors are closing and sealing correctly. Moisture can come through an open door or a door that is not sealed correctly. Lastly, if it is hot and humid, make sure that you are not going in your refrigerator many times and holding the door open as well. Hope this is helpful.

-Best regards-

GE side by side freezer shelves falling down

This appears to be a known problem with at least a couple of GE models (It has been happening in our freezer too). There is a GE Service bulletin at https://customernet.geappliances.com/OTIS/fs/home_images/REF01-10.pdf that seems to describe the fix as them sending out new shelves (and maybe someone to install them?)

Shelves not saying in grommets. This happens will

I have exactly the same problem and it is mostly because of the cheap plastic support brackets. I'd like someone to to offer a cheap way to "rig" it so it will support the weight of the shelves when full. Glad tyo know I am not the only one.

Broken Shelves

The only shelves you'll get for this model is probably the ones offered by the manufacturer.

The best way for longevity of the shelves, is to make sure that you do not put too many heavy things on it, and be careful when cleaning and replacing shelves..
