It thinks bucket is full because switch is tripped or stuck in tripped position.

Take out bucket and inspect plate it sits on. May be stuck or spring not providing enough tension. Increase tension on spring so empty bucket doesn't trip switch.,

SOURCE: DeLonghi 50 Pint dehumidifier DE 500P won't turn back on

If it is not responding when you try to activate the shutoff button and are still not recieving an acknowledgement that the bucket is full you may hav a defective shutoff button. Try contacting the Manufacturer and see if you can purchase just the button. This i a common part and the price is usually reasonable. If you feel very technical inclined you can remove the button and touch the 2 wires together simulating a closed contact. The dehumidifier should now acknowledge the bucket is full. If you recieve the notification then the button is bad. If you found this solution helpful please rate it.

SOURCE: Power lose

I had the same problem with my 50 pint unit. The bucket full light flashed, would unplug, restart, filter clean it, etc. It would not fill up with water. I finally checked the coils. The coils were filthy after 18 mos of use and needed to be scrubbed clean with a toothbrush. There are two sets of coils on the 50 pint. Check and clean both. My unit runs as new now.

T2 direct de hum 3 alarming after running a few secs.

There are several reasons why your T2 Direct Dehum 3 dehumidifier may be alarming after running for a few seconds:
  1. Dirty or Clogged Air Filter: A dirty or clogged air filter can cause the dehumidifier to overheat and shut down. Check the air filter and clean or replace it if necessary.
  2. Defective Humidity Sensor: If the humidity sensor is defective, it may cause the dehumidifier to shut down. The sensor may need to be replaced.
  3. Faulty Compressor: A faulty compressor can cause the dehumidifier to shut down after running for a short time. You may need to replace the compressor.
  4. Low Refrigerant Charge: If the refrigerant charge is low, it can cause the dehumidifier to shut down. You may need to recharge the refrigerant.
  5. Faulty Control Board: A faulty control board can cause the dehumidifier to shut down or display error messages. You may need to replace the control board.
It is recommended to contact a qualified technician to diagnose and repair the issue with your dehumidifier.

Hi I have problems with my mitsubishi dehumidifier Oasis Elite MJ-E-142NX-A1 The water tank full light stays on even though the tank is empty. I have emptied the water and replaced the container care

Sounds like your float is stuck in the full position, or the sensor that shows full is stuck on full.
If tank is empty but shows full, problem lies where full signal is coming from.

Dehumidifiers bucket empty but says full water leaking on floor

if says full and leaking on floor. it is full, you say empty, why make sure that it is empty, sensor in container to check level, so if it is empty, sensor fault, but leaking on floor, would indicate sensor ok, and container full

Dehumidifier runs but doesn't collect water also the full light won't turn off and the container is empty. Float is in it.

Hi,

Here is a tip that explains what can be happening to make the dehumidifier show that the bucket is full when it is not.

FULL LIGHT FLASHES

An automatic overflow switch and Container “Full” indicator light are provided to turn the
dehumidifier off before the container overflows. When the indicator light on the control panel
glows, the water container must be emptied. If the light remains on and the dehumidifier does
not begin to operate make sure the float is attached to the water container.

When the condensate water container is full, the indicator lights up.
1. Turn the power off before removing container. Wait 3 minutes for
any remaining water to drain into the condensate container.
2. Tilt the container forward then lift carefully by the handle.
3. Empty and gently re-insert the container.
Important:This water is not suitable for drinking.

Please rate and god bless:)

Dehumdifier won't drain

You just need to get the water flowing and start the siphoning process by taking out the water bucket while it's full of water and raising it up high enough to start the water flowing. Once the water starts flowing, you can put the bucket back and the water will keep flowing (by capillary action). If the bucket empties completely, you may have to do it again periodically to get the water flowing again.

Collecting no water

My crosley dehum. acted the same way. It turned out to be a bad defrost thermostat on the evaporator coil.
