TCO fail error on LG make LCD screen when not connected to CPU and if we connect to CPU picture comes for a moment and then becomes blank(Off)

The reason the picture is blue on the DVD is because you have poor video cables running the feed, probably RCA yellow cable im guessing. Get some nice component cables for the DVD feed and it will fix you right up.

I get this all the time and it is really annoying.
What I do to solve it for me is to is to tern all my mobile application off and then reconnect the USB cable.

To close all open applications: press the white hard key (in the middle of the red and green), and you customisable menu appears. At the top of the screen is a grey tab with a dark grey triangle (like a play button), press this and you see all (if any phone application are open), press the end all button on the screen. Then to confirm action pres yes to stop all tasks.

Make sure you have the PS3 set to the correct frequency for the TV. Many cannot accept 1080p / 24fps etc.

Try different settings.

hey.. if u connect ur phone via usb, be sure that ur phone is in home screen, because if not, for example if you connect your phone and you're in your message menu then you will open some apps in your pc suite the message will appear saying 'Fail to connect to the mobile handset, Please check the COM port and connect in idle screen. Yes, hook it up, but before you do that Vacuumn every piece of lint out of the cabinet. Also check TCO and check the thermostats for continuity. They should all read zero ohms.If one of them is open, replace it.

Also use your ohmmeter to check the heating element, It should not show an open condition.
