The LTE indicates the phone network signal strength and not the Wifi signal strength. Go to your wifi setup and connect screen to see the Wifi signal strength.
You can try changing your connection to 4G and seeif you get a better connection in your area

hi it sounds like when tunned in tv it was tunned in shop mode.

I also have a viewty, and I find that with a cheap data plan and the 3g internet speeds, lack of wifi isn't really a downside.

Are you sure this is the original iPhone. I've noticed this same problem with the nokia N95.

If you don't see the WiFi signal on the status bar, that means you're not connected.

Guys i foun a solution for the problem.
Just enable content sharing and in the connection setting window in the browser set allow local connection, and then it will use the wi-fi . cheers
