From what I can tell, it looks like u have to remove the whole glovebox door which entails removing the lower dash panel on the passenger side.. That should give u access to screws to remove glovebox door. Don't tug on the door when u remove screw's, just enough space to get ur hand or something else up inside to unlatch.. If u need further info, let me know
The door hinge could actually be broken. The door and hinge are all plastic. When you remove the lower console you can actually feel if the door is loose. There is an aftermarket replacement with metal hinges that works great. Normally you have to remove the entire dash to replace or fix it, but the aftermarket one has you go through the glovebox and cut a hole in the duct to reove the old door and replace it with the new one. (You epoxy the cutout back in to seal it - it's out of side and is totally airtight.) I recommend looking into that.
Remove the kick trim and lower the glovebox door. Access the wiring connectors thru the glovebox hole with the door down, just unhook. Put the door back up and access the blower motor from under the glovebox, held in by screws.
Most of the time they are tucked under the dash and above the glovebox. Ive never seen one on your year caddy. Ive seen several buicks and oldsmobiles. Most of the time you have to take off the glovebox and look above the back part of the box for them. For a picture of a TDM, go to this link.
Stick your head under the dash, directly under the glovebox. You can also, turn the glovebox door upside down (empty your glovebox first, I didn't the first time :) ) to remove it and replace the resistor.
There is a little more to it than that, but not a tough job if you have patience. You will need to remove both 'doors' on the dash-one glovebox, one fuse access panel. on US models, you will need to remove the pass side airbag as well, then 2 bolts that hold a set of relays under the airbag, then 5 bolts that hold a support bracket (also under the pass side airbag-behind glovebox.
Then under the dash at teh outside near the doors, remove 2 sets of 10mm bolts. after than remove 2 sets of 10mm bolts near where the bottom of the dash touches the tranny tunnel. obviously all the center console needs to be removed, and the center panel of the dash, as there are several sets of screws that hold that to the back of the dash.
be patient, take lots of photos of how it goes together, and where the wiring is(was), and this is pretty easy.
it is located on top of the heater box assy behind the dash just to the left of of the glovebox if you open the glovebox and look to the left you can see it
First remove the vent from the middle of dash up by windshield. It has one philips head screw, then has a clip on each side.
Then you need a 7mm. First there are two screws under were the vent you just took out was. One is longer than the other.
Next take the side covers off each side of the dash, these are the sides of the dash were the door panel meets the dash. I believe there was either one or two screws on each side after the cover is popped out.
Next open the glovebox, there are two gold screws up through a hole in the top of the glovebox, they hold the airbag in. Then there are like four more along the edge of the glovebox were the top of the door would meet the dash.
After all those screws are out then you can take the top dash cover out, but your not done yet.
After the top cover is out you will have like four more screws they go straight down right behind the face of the dash. After they are out the rest is clips and unplug the wires for the lights and lighter. After its free remove it,
Now you can take the two or three screws holding the radio out and pull it out. Now just reverse the whole thing and pray for no extra screws or broken tabs.
It takes more time than it is hard, just don't try and rush it or you'll be calling salvage yards for parts. Hope this helps.
In the glovebox area remove the two golden colored bolts they are up through the hole in the top of the glovebox
then there are three more screws right were the top of the glovebox door would be if it were closed
lift up on the dash and pop out the locater pins above the gauge cluster
then remove the dash cover
then remove the dash face by removing the screw on each side of the gauges and the last one to the right of the center vent (these go down from the top)
then unclip from around the radio and unplug the wires and remove the face
