Where is the button on the laptop to open the disk drive on my asus

press the button on the drive to open tray
go to computer right click drive letter then eject on the menu
manual eject using paper clip in hole under drive tray if it has one check the manual

What is the make and model of your laptop? Some new Asus laptops do not have CD/DVD drives - You need to use an external drive.

Near the eject button (on the same face as the eject button) there should be a pin hole. Use a straigtened paper clip to force the ejection of a stuck disk. It may also work even without a disk stuck. ( I just tried it on the drive of the laptop.)

confirm either the disk is SATA or IDE thenn open at the back of your laptop and you will find a cover with a picture of a cylider like then open it and carefully slide out the hard disk and install the new one and load the operating system.

On the CDrom drive, there is a small hole near the button to open the drive. Insert the tip of a straightened paper clip into the hole and press gently. The drive should open to allow you to remove the disk that is stuck.

1. Open Disk Cleanup by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type Disk Cleanup, and then, in the list of results, click Disk Cleanup.
   

2. In the Drives list, click the hard disk drive that you want to clean up, and then click OK.
   

3. In the Disk Cleanup dialog box, on the Disk Cleanup tab, select the check boxes for the file types that you want to delete, and then clickOK.
   

4. In the message that appears, click Delete files.

1. Plug a USB thumb drive into any PC running Windows 7.
2. Click on the Start button and then open your CMD prompt using "Open as Administrator".
3. Type in "Diskpart" and hit enter.
4. Type in List Disk, hit enter, and it will display your disks.
5. Locate the Thumb Drive by the size and then type in "Sel Disk #" # being the number of the drive.
6. Once it says it is selected, type in "Clean" and hit enter.
7. Now type in "Create Partition Primary" and hit enter
8. Now type in "Format fs=fat32 quick label=Win7" and hit enter.
9. Now type in "Assign" and hit enter. Windows should now re-open the drive in Windows.
10. Now type in Exit, hit enter. Type in Exit again, and hit enter.
11. Copy the contents of a Windows 7 CD to this drive now, and it will boot and install just like the CD.

you can find disk clean by open my computer and you can see the following drive partition. you right click the drive c and then click properties and then you can see and click the disk cleanup button located in the right side of the menu. you can select all entries to clean by clicking to check mark the square button and press ok and your done. don't be afraid to clean, it cant delete the windows files.

Open up the Computer icon and right-click on your c: drive. Then click on Properties, then on Disk Cleanup. Once this has completed, you might want to run Defrag as well, in Tools, then Defrag, then Defrag Now. You might also think about Drive Compression too, to make more effective drive room.
