You are overdriving the output chips. Sooner or later they will fail or a capacitor will.

Testimonial: "The strange things is that it happens when all input and output volumes are low. Even at 25% it gets hot and trips."

How do I connect my mixer to a Behringer Ultaragraph Pro FBQ 3102 and a Behringer Virtualizer Pro DSP2024P in sequence

A bit more info about what you're you;re trying to do would be useful. You would normally use both these as inserts either on the main bus or more likely on an individual or subgroup bus, as you want them in sequence you'll come out of the insert send (tip) into the first unit (whichever you feel is best first) and then from its output into the input of the second unit, then from the output of the second unit into the insert return (ring)

Help behringer xenyx 1002fx !!

If you registered your mixer there will be a three year warranty so get it back to your local Behringer service depot. If not check the output from the PSU, if that's OK then I'm afraid it is very unlikey to be economical to repair. Sell it as spares and repairs on eBay.

I want to purchase a behringer 15 band graphic equaliser and connect it to a numark 5000fx mixer via skytec pro600 power amp can you help.

The signal path to follow is explained below:

*Audio Source(Cd/LapTop/Ipod)output to,
*Numark 5000FX Input, Then master/main outputs go to,
*Behringer FBQ1502 Inputs, then outputs go to,
*Pro600 Power Amplifier Inputs, then power amp outputs hooked up with a speaker each side.

Hope this helps.

My behringer xenyx 802 premium 8-input mixer worked fine for 1 day but now it sounds watery and behringer support was no help at all

Sounds like it may have failed. Yes, it is likely that it needs to be returned. Another option is to unplug all inputs and outputs. Plug in ONE device into the board, and use the headphone jack on the board. Does it sound the same? Just basic troubleshooting may help.

HOW TO WIRE GEMINI GRAPHIC EQ 3000 TO behringer djx750 proffessional MIXER

Line level output of the mixer would go into the line level inputs of the EQ, and the EQ line level outpputs to the line level inputs of the amplifier. If you are faced with a mix of unbalanced inputs or outputs, to balanced inputs or outputs it gets a little complicated because you need to matrix the balanced signal to unbalanced load and vice versa. There is no single answer to doing this either.

RCA jacks are unbalanced, 2 conductor 1/4 inch connections are unbalanced most of the time. XLR and 3 conductor 1/4 inch jacks and plugs can be either balanced or unbalanced. If either are wired so left and right are a single ring or tip on the 3 conductor 1/4 inch jack, it is unbalanced and they would share a common ground lead. XLR wired with one pin common with shield and right and left have a single conductor on the plug or jack, that is unbalanced.

Behringer ub802 mixer is buzzing even when no input when i hook my head phones into the headphone jack and main output jack

If it buzzes when you have no inputs AND no output leads connected, there is a problem with the power supply... HOWEVER if you have used UNBALANCED output cables instead of the REQUIRED TRS BALANCED output cables, it is possible the noise is being driven backwards and that is what you are hearing. Note that at full gains, there often is a tiny bit of noise, usually hiss. Also make sure the supply is powered from the SAME receptacle as the equipment this drives such as an amp or powered speakers.

Show me how to hook up the Behringer destroyer pro?

What are you going to hook up to?

Essentially you connect the power cord to power and connect outputs from say a mixer to the inputs using TRS balanced cables... and connect the outputs of the unit to your power amplifier.

Note taht there are MANY other possibilities using "inserts:on some devices.

How to connect mixer to a crown power base 2 amp and speakers

just use the main left and right outputs of the behringer to run xlr (3 prong balanced) to 1/4 inch (looks like a big headphone plug) cables into the inputs of the crown amp. the mixer has the xlr outputs and the amp has 1/4 inch inputrs, sop the cables will have to reflect that on both ends. run the outputs of the amp (rca outputs, i believe, you may have to get a rca plug to 1/4 inch jack adapter, and then use a 1/4 inch speaker cable) to the inputs of the speakers, again, the amp has rca outputs and the speakers will likely have 1/4 inputs, so you will have to address that wil an adapter. have each speaker in its own channel.

How to get the effects to work on the mixer

This is in general for Behringer mixers since you did NOT tell us a model number...

To use the effects you adjust the FX knob for EACH channel for the amount of the mic or input you want to send to effects from that channel. This is the "send" mix.

You dial in one of the effects based on the list near the effects selection window with the selector knob and the number will change and start flashing. You press down on the selection knob which will enter the new effects number and the number will be solid and not flashing.

Then there is a knob to select how much of the OUTPUT of the effects you want to go to the main and sometimes one for the amount to the monitors.

That is all there is to it. The effects can be gated by a foot switch input if you desire.

It is a good idea to include a model number as your thing is posted as if it is a PMP3000 mixer.

Power supply cooked

There isn't anything in the power supply you cannot rebuild except the transformer.

BUT you should verify that something in the mixer didn't short out and damage the supply.

After you relace the smoked parts (likely the TOP245Y offline regulator chip is gonzo... then you use this trick to restart the unit safely:

Put a 60 Watt light bulb in series with the hot side of the input power line. I would recommend you use an ISOLATION transformer when working on the power line side of this for safety.
