It sounds like the network that you are using has Facebook access blocked.
The network administrator probably got tired of all of the bandwidth going to non-productive Facebook activities.

1. select menu -> settings -> applications -> manage applications

2. scroll down and click "Google Apps"

3. click the "Clear data" button (you will receive a warning, click OK)

4. go back to home screen

5. pull down the notification menu and click on the message "Your account must be updated"

6. follow the onscreen instruction until you get to where it asks you to "create" or "sign in", click "sign in" and enter YOUR new Google account info.

then ur going to have to factory reset ur phone causing it to delete everything except what was on your sd card i just did it and it works hold the volume up + home button + search button for 5 or so seconds.

Just change the syncing interval to automatic or to some other time interval which suits you from the settings in the gmail app.

If you have NMTI connections on the FRE, first you need to disconnect the frame relay path, this has to be done by logging into the FRE and disconnect it using the DLCI number of the path, once all the paths has been disconnected you can then log into the 3600 node and disconnect the Frame Relay link. After all is cleared you can create the new link and paths again
