Graphical memory error, probably. You are using too many points (values ) of the x-variable. The step (increment) is too small.

I am not sure how you can create such function (the range limitation do not work for x=c) but you can draw a vertical segment, just do not call it a function.

Draw a graph Y1=0
Then press SKETCH function key and use the F6 key to cycle through the TABS at the bottom of the screen. Look for the TAB named PEN. and click the function key below it.

Use the arrows to move the cursor to a spot on the screen (near the bottom), Press EXE to fix the starting point of the segment. Then use the Up arrow to draw a vertical segment from bottom to top.

SOURCE: Casio fx-7400G PLUS cubic solver?

Hi,
First let us repair the terminology.

  1. You can evaluate any expression (find the value of any expression for a particular value of its variable).Store a value in the variable, say X. Key in the expression and press [EXE].
  2. You can consider your expression(should not contain a relational operator such as =, greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, less than or equal to) to be a function Y1(x) = expression and graph it, or generate a table for it. You will have several values of the function calculated at various points.
  3. You can set your expression equal to 0 and find the particular value(s) of the variable (the unknown) that make the equality TRUE. That is called solving an equation.
I am not sure that it has a solver (solving an equation or an inequation) but you can always draw your expression as a function and explore the graph (SKTCH) to locate the roots (or zeros) of the functions (the values of the variable where the function equals zero.) That is called solving graphically.

Hope it helps.

MEMORY ERROR MESSAGE

Exactly what were you trying to do? It helps to understand the problem you are having. Usually it means that the result exceeds the capacity of the memory (Too big). The upper limit for the calculator is 9.9999999.. *10^(99) or 10^100.

Find the percent bottom on the casio fx9860gii

[OPTN][LIST] scroll right till you find %.
It is used inside programs and works on lists.
Create a list of data and type it in under STAT

2_2_2013_10_57_12_pm.jpg
Close the list editor (Press Menu to go to Run>Mat).
In Run>Mat Press OPTN>List>F6..>%.
The word Percent is displayed. Enter the name List (OPTN>List) then the list number (1-6). This is what you see (without the owrd Done).

2_2_2013_11_00_36_pm.jpg
Press the EXE
The calculator displays a list with the same dimension as List 1. Each element represent the % of the corresponding element of list 1 with respect to the total of the list L1.
In fact it calculates the relative frequency of each element.

Maybe that does not answer your question but really converting a decimal to a percent value or a percentage into a decimal is a rather trivail matter. Just move the decimal mark (if there is none put one at the end of the number) two places to the left to get the decimal equivalent or two places to the right to get the percent equivalent of a decimal number.

You can use the square-root function for any number, whether it's a perfect square or not. For example, to calculate the square root of 2, press SHIFT [square-root] 2 EXE .

You cannot. The calculator does not have the Natural Display (math display) feature. I have heard that you can flash it with the OS of an FX-9860GII. At your own risk.
