It is a dead short somewhere

There is no reset... if you have power and it is not running then the pump is toast...

replace it...

It sounds like your seal is leaking.   You can purchase a new seal kit here.

i suggest you use energizer e2 lithium batteries is has long time run with digital cameras and is good for fast camera shooting. 10-year shelf life...you would be able to save a lot with this batt.
