Your windows XP is pirated and that is why the Microsoft popping up on the screen to activate. It will be remove unless you reformat again your windows system. Then after you reformat disable the windows update for not again be activated by Microsoft.

  • Anonymous Jul 29, 2009

OK, go to run command then type MSCONFIG then enter and select STARTUP, find the icon which is currently use for activating windows. If your using a Genuine Microsoft and do not again because you already have it. It tells that your going to activate because you didn't Turn-Off your WINDOWS UPDATE command. Click none if you don't want to activate if at less you can enter in the desktop. As soon as you keep activate maybe next you open you cannot use it anymore then again reformat system. please do. good luck!

My windows 7 ultimate is not genuine.what will i do to be a genuine my windows?

There are many different ways on how to bypass that. However, it is illegal and not recommended.

I suggest you purchase a full version of the genuine windows and enter its product key so that it will be activated.

Cyclic boot and reboot after installing SP2

If you have the Windows XP recovery disk you should boot into the disk and do a repair install of the Windows OS. You can also press 'F8' before or right after the Windows XP splash screen comes up and tell it to either boot into Safe Mode or "Boot with last configuration that worked". If you boot into safe mode, go to control panel and programs and uninstall the sp2 installation. Please comment back if you need further assistance. I will be providing a How-To on how to recover a system using system CDs today.

Good Luck,

Laptop HP Pavilion dv6775us. Unknown device in Manager devices list is appears. After check by EVEREST programm I find: ID - ACPIHPQ0007 and PnP set - HP Remote Control HID device. And one more problem...

greatings and hello
the 1millionth post here, lacking the OS.
HP came with OS/1 , Linux, Freedos, and all versions of windows ever made. (yours, I guess 3?)
so yours is windows 95 (pnp) up. in this case, but what? what windows. (XP up to 10, Im sorry I cant guess that ever)
gee how could (super man doing xrays)
the driver is for sure bad. (this tells me not using HP disks)
so learn now that drivers are a 3 way match.
Your PC, your CHIP dead, and your OS.
must match. (some devices (chips are 4 ways, web cams inside)
if running XP for VISTA, are you? MS killed dead PNP online
those 2 OS are now officially DEAD>

then you say I installed a OS, and skip
from where? or what disk, and what source
what are the words on the top of the CD?????????????
From HP
FROM MS
from hacking sites endless and full of MALWARE?
we are blind here until you tell what you have
and what you did exactly. (history matters)

Demo problem

Vista is a very demanding OS. Either buy a license or U will have to format UR drive to put XP back on. Vista is NOT an upgrade, it is a 64 bit OS. XP is a 32 bit OS. Like U, I like XP. Been down this road.

OS load failure.

The bluescreen saying about the ACPI, I had the same problem at work with a older computer. Next time you get the bluescreen read everything it says.

It tells you to press a button, I'm not sure thats why I'm telling you to read the bluescreen (windows 2000 or xp) it was f5 or f8.

You press f5 or f8 I think it was f5 since f6 is to load custom drivers.

So you press f5 when it asks you to press f6 This disables the ACPI subsystem in the setup and you should be able to install windows 2000 without any more problems. If its not f5 read the bluescreen thats where I got it!

Good luck, keep me posted and tell me if theres anything else.
