Possibly the port you're using on the TV is bad, try another port, if still same "no signal" try different cable, also, try testing another device connected to TV without using DirecTV box, if the test device works, Call DirecTV support to report your issue with box, if the test device doesn't work the motherboard of the TV needs replaced.

SOURCE: bose cinemate no sound

Yes it will work coming straight off the dirctv box. What kind of tv do u have that doesnt have an audio out. I have had to actually use rca splitters to get sound from bluray and cable box because the new samsung led tvs only have optical out. Dont forget the unit not being used must be off or u will have 2 source sounds at one time playing.

SOURCE: I'm trying to connect my Polaroid 15

You need to do a factory reset on these tv's to get it working everytime you power it up. Then you can toggle through the inputs to get it to work. What a pain!!

SOURCE: what could be wrong if i have everything hooked up

Hi,
1. Make sure it's connect to "Audio Out" on your DirecTV box.
2. Yes, the blue light should be on while unit is on an received a signal.
3. Check a second set of audio cables, just to be sure.
4. Toggle the Auto On/Off button on the ZVOX remote.
5. Make sure you've turned up the volume via the ZVOX remote.
If all these fail, contact us at zvoxaudio.com.

You can try resetting the receiver by pressing the red reset button either on the side on the receiver or behind the door on the right side front of the receiver. If all else fails you can unplug the receiver from the power.

I'm trying to connect my Polaroid 15" LCD TV (model FLM-1514B) to my Directv box and only get a blue screen on the tv.

Turn off blue screen in the menu of the TV if you can or cycle through the input sources on the remote to find the directv signal. Check cable setup in back of TV if it still does not work. Has the directv box been working with any other TV?
