I have an Asko W6242. The drum doesn't rotate and no error message.

Upon pressing "Start", The water is entering the machine, then the pump starts its work and takes out the water and the machine stops. the drum can move freely manually , but no noise from the motor.

SOURCE: washing machine drum won't turn under power

is the washing machine went to its usual cycle? put water in?

if you think the motor should have run already, then it could be the motor or the motor inverter.
check the motor leads for equal resistance, if i'm right, you may have a three phase motro so the three leads that comes out should have equal resistance.

also, if you can monitor the voltage present in the motor leads while it is plug in and you are waiting for the motor to run, if there is voltage then there is a problem with the motor, if there is no voltage present, then the inverter unit would be the defective part.

This may be the drain pump itself, it is common as I believe your model is fitted with a magnetic pump. If indeed this is the problem, the original pump housing can be used again by simply unscrewing, this will save money. You can buy pump assemblies in universal form most of the time but simply check that the housing fits to the new pump, most come with a choice of mounting brackets and have more than enough screw holes to suit most housings.

E003-0000 is displayed upon recovery from sleep mode

Workaround :
When a machine is in sleep mode and is recovered an error code "E003-0000" was displayed.
It is caused during the fixing temperature control at recovery from sleep mode, electrical noise affected the thermistor.

In order to increase the length of time for idle rotation of the drum (by 30 sec) at start-up and prevent electrical noise from affecting the thermistor, make the following selection:
Service mode (Level 2)> COPIER> OPTION> BODY> DRM-IDL = change the setting to '3'

Note: The length of time for idle rotation is being increased by 30 sec.
This mode will delay start of the machine by 30 sec.

Title : E003
Error :

E003-0000 Error Code can be displayed when the reading of the main thermistor is below 70 deg. C for 2 sec. after it has exceeded 100 deg. C.

Workaround :
1. Although the fixing heater or the temperature-detecting thermistor may be faulty, before replacing these parts, check J508 on the DC controller PCB for poor contact and refit it if necessary.

2. Make the following selections to clear the error code: [Service mode > COPIER > Function > CLEAR > ERR > OK]

Door dont want to open

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

Dishwasher intake/drain light is on, removed and cleaned intake valve, no obstructions. Tripped the breaker to the power supply to no avail....any suggestions?

Hi

Intake/Drain light flashing means an issue while draining. You would need to check for air gap on the dishwasher, it may be clogged. It prevents dishwasher from draining, sometimes the drain flow is restricted due to gunk. Cleaning or bypassing the air gap will resolve the issue. If this doesn't resolve the issue then it is due to seized (or stuck) drain pump. Disconnect the power to the dishwasher or turn off the breaker to the dishwasher. Tip machine on its back; remove screws that hold the bottom tray on. Remove the hoses to the main motor, remove electrical connections & remove motor (single screw holds motor, it is on the outside back of the machine). Try to rotate the motor (use WD40 is necessary). If you cannot rotate it, then motor will be required. If the error still appears then cancel the error message, turn the rotary selector switch to "Stop/End" or press the "Start/Stop" switch for approx. 5 secs. Switch the appliance off and then back on again. Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.
