Hi I sighted inmy rifle today with a Ziess Conquest scope. When i needed to bring the point if impact up . The impact moved down instead. I turned the scope turret to the right like the markings on the...

I hate those 'direction' arrows. I usually end up ignoring the arrows and moving it however it takes to get what I want.
Raising the crosshairs will cause you to have to point lower to make the round hit on target.

Is the country of origin China.. Sounds like the reticle is stuck,, like from being dropped maybe in shipping. OK, Without any adjustments made shoot it one time, if you tap on the side of the scope, not the top of the turrets with a plastic/rubber hammer and point of impact changes (jumps) its faulty.. you cant fix it.

Dont understand why on top of an side of scope setting there is ur ur instead of left right or up down

The "U" indicates Up on the elevation dial, and the "R" indicates Right on the windage dial. Turn the elevation dial clockwise to move the point of impact up, counterclockwise moves down. Similarly, turning the windage dial clockwise moves Right, and counterclockwise moves left. Here's a scan from the Zeiss Conquest manual:
Good luck!

Is the Zeiss conquest Z-plex scopes first or second focal plane?

Zeiss Conquest scopes are all second focal plane scopes. This indicates that the reticle, Z-plex in this case, is located on the second image plane.
  • Reticles on the second focal plane remain the same size regardless of the magnification setting of the scope.
  • When on the first focal plane, reticles will increase or decrease in size as the magnification is changed.

Adjustment Issue

the scope should all ways be fitted with the wind adjustment on the right as you look down the rifle, therefor the top ajuster is for up/down,
right ajuster is wind,,left/right, the easy way to set it up is to aim at some sand with the rifle on a stand or in a jig, shoot one round see were it hits and without moving the rifle, turn the turrets till the cross is over the point were the bullet landed, having a pall to move the turrets for you helps a lot here, the main point is dont move the rifle till the turrets have been moved first,, its that or bore sight it,,, jig the rifle up pointing at a target at say 200yds look down the bore aim the bore at the target lock down the rifle check it by looking down the bore again then set the cross up in the scope on what you see down the bore
you will need to tweek the scope a bit as you havent taken the bullet drop into the ajustment that way,,
