As it appears to be designed to be used with Canon equipment, probably not.

SOURCE: Can you switch a video from time lapse mode if it has already been shot?

If anyone can do this, it would take a video production expert that can pull the audio track off and then patch the audio and video track back together. This will require high tech equipment, and quite a bit of expertise to get the two tracks to match. My guess is that this could be done for about $100-200 depending on the expert's rate and actual amount of time they spend on it. Check your yellow pages or the internet for someone in your area that can do this type of video editing.

Good Luck

SOURCE: Delayed shutter

Here as in some other posts, you can try to RESET the firmware in the menus. Go through the menus and find where it says something like reset all.
What this does is to reset it back to factory settings.
Then set the options you like, and then try the camera again.

Check the diff. modes for the picture taking. See if the flash can be turned off.

SOURCE: Olympus 0M10 ..delayed shutter speed?

Be sure the mode knob at the top beside the wind lever, is set to Auto ( not B or Manual Adapter ). Then be sure your lens aperture is set to a lower number like 2 or 4. If this doesn't change things, it probably needs repair.

Time lapse

If your camera does not have a time lapse setting then you need to do this manually or make a device to trigger the remote control on your camera at predetermined intervals.

I am looking to learn how to set the camera to take a sequence of delayed shots..how do I do this..?

The camera shoots continuously while the shutter button is held down.

there are three options for it

Continuous(Approx. 4.0 img/sec)

Shooting AF (Approx. 1.1 img per secnd)

Shooting LV (1.2 images per secnd)
(Live View)

Press teh shutter button.
Use up and down buttons to select the shooting modes.
The camera will continue to reord continous images as long as the shutter button is held down.
The taking will cease when it is released.

My sony dsc t100 cyber shot seems to have a slow shutter speed and the pictures are blurry. I have tried multipel settings. I can hear it "c l i c k" very slow even in burst mode. Was wondering if it could...

Use Focus Lock.

Not applicable for the E-series digital cameras.
The shutter is delayed because of the additional flashes. In turn, make sure the picture's subjects wait for the additional flashes.

How do I use my time-lapse function, Does my camera have one?

There is no tme lapse function on the 400d however a search on ebay can come up with some 3rd party electronic shutter releases which have time lapse function fitted. Most are from Hong Kong but dont be put off I have bought lots of theses 3rd party accessories (battery grips, off camera flash cords, remote shutter releases etc) and all work faultlessly. Here is one of many.I do not own this one personally but I have several items by the "Yongnuo" company and they are great.

Multi shot mode for sports

for sports shot you can use panning
Scene menu:If designated through the set up menu, this menu automatically appears in the SCN1 and SCN2 modes. panning:is for takin photos of say example a runner or a cyclist,, You hold down the shutter and pan with the subject this will make the background blurry and the object clear.

Try also to check in manual; Theres a symbol (M) at the mode dial select that and you will be able to control overall exposure settings, including shutter speed and lens aperture...

OR... symbol (S) on the mode dial select that and you will be able to control shutter speed settings...

THANKS!

Can I switch a video from time lapse mode after it has been shot?

No. Time-lapse video is recorded at a much lower frequency than regular video. The information between recorded frames is gone.

Imagine taking a picture out of your office window once an hour. You might catch some cars moving and/or people walking, but you won't be able to see what happened between the pictures.

You can go the other way, from a regular video to a time-lapse video by skipping frames. Unfortunately you can't do the opposite without guessing at what happened in between.

TIME LAPSE function

The TIME LAPSE function makes it possible to shoot a sequence of pictures (such as a flower opening) automatically under pre-set conditions. Open the MODE MENU under the CAMERA tab. Use the arrow pad to toggle up to TIME LAPSE and select ON. On this screen you can select the number of shot (2 to 99) and the time interval between each shot (1 min. to 60 min. in 1 min. increments. Press the OK button and the shooting sequence will begin. It is advised to use the AC Adapter C-7AU for longer sequences. This function is not available in the AUTO or MOVIE Modes.
