Hi,
This is an indication of out-of-regulation condition on the power supply section. The caused of this symptoms is the leaky/dried electrolytic filter capacitor in the power supply section. It will dropped the supply voltage and sometimes it produced an overload to the chopper transformer and produces that kind of symptoms. It needs a little warm-up to make itself stable but the symptoms will get worst, time will come the unit will not power up at all.
Leaky capacitor has a physical indication of fault like bulged/dome at the top and can easily be identified while dried capacitor has no physical indication of fault. You must have a capacitor checker to determine its condition. If it is not available, you may replaced all electrolytic capacitor in the output of the power supply section. It has a capacitance and working voltage which is labelled on its body itself. Replace it with same rating. Upon installing a new capacitor, ensure that the polarity (positive and negative side) must be at its location to avoid further damaged. It will not cost you much because each capacitor cost only less than a dollar. Also if you are going to DIY, you will save $200-$300 for service fee of the technician.
If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to look for a qualified technician to isolate the problem.
Check also if your unit is still under warranty/warranty period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Don't attempt to open the back cover it will void the warranty.
Hope I helped you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.
