How do I replace the linear ball bearing on a c8fb2 Hitachi miter saw

Its not too difficult:
1) There are 2 retainer pins located on the rear slide support (#4 on breakdown) - carefully drive these out with a punch - be careful to support the bracket so you don't break it.
2) remove the rear support and slide the saw head and arms out of the bearing.
3) Remove the 2 covers (front and rear) over the bearing
4) loosen the allen head set screw on the housing that holds the bearing in place
5) using a large socket and a plastic hammer - gently tap out the old bearing.
Reverse process to replace.
Do not use grease or oil on the bearing or slides - use a pure, clear silicone spray that dries completely - grease & oil attract & hold dirt and debris and will cause bearing failure.

Air pressure on my air compressor

This problem is usually caused by reed valves or blown gasket between head and valve plate. Easy to check. After the compressor reaches 45 to 50 psi, with compressor still running, remove the air filter and feel for good suction at the intake port. If the air seems to be blowing out of the intake, then valves are bad. If you feel good suction at the intake, then air is leaking from the discharge tubing or other fittings. Good luck

How to put oil in Hitachi H65

OIL ?? I think Hitachi has always a yellow grease lubrication
hitachi grease demolition hammer Google zoeken never seen heart of oil in Hitachi demolitions. but there could be models in your Country thats new for me .
Otherwise BOSCH HILTI and the one and only brand DUSS demolition hammers and also a few brands of Chinese hammers need oil lubrication . an expensive sinc-free hydraulic oil the same as used in some pressure washers life lasting oil but for HItachi look at the link for the grease 2 tubes a enough . good luck and dont forget the piston pin to replace with a new not only the gaskets and o-rings and also the oil and dirt seals on the front where the striking pin is that must be absolutely not air leaking because all your work burns in a few months again out . you can start all-over again.

What type of lube oil for my hitachi brad nailer

Needs very little oil, just few drops of sewing machine oil or nail gun oil sold at lowes or home depot. Purchase smallest size bottle of Paslode or bostitch nail gun oil (most likely they will not have hitachi oil). Do not by air tool oil as this oil is for air powered impact etc. Good luck

What kind of oil can I use in my hitachi H65?

Hitachi hammers use 30wt non detergent oil. But you can use lighter oil in cold climate. If too much oil accumulates in hammer, it may just come out bit retainer or build-up inside gun. Oil enters the hammer by wick process, of wick is missing oil will enter too quickly. If your brand label is glued on, you may have a hitachi copy from china (most hitachi labels are rivited on). China hammers may use different oil.

I have an Hitachi EC-12 compressor and I need to know how to verify that the oil level is correct. There is a green plastic dip stick but there are no markings on it that I can see indicating where...

Pull the dipstick and notice the notch cut into both sides at bottom (push dipstick all the way in to check oil level). Fill to top of notch. Lowest safe oil level is bottom of notch. This unit does not hold much oil. Always use the compressor on level ground (tilted compressor could cause a lack of lubrication). Good luck

Hello - I have a Hitachi Demolition Hammer PH-66A. What type of oil should I use in it? Thanks.

Hitachi sells a pneumatic oil for use in its air power tools. Your local Hitachi dealer, or any pneumatic dealer will sell the oil. The brand is not as important as using a few drops directly into the air fitting when starting a day of work. If used heavily, oil it again mid way through the working day.
