CL indicates Child Lock (Control Lock). This locks the control panel to prevent accidental use of the washing machine. Disabling the child lock feature depends on the machine (make and model). You need to press and hold a button or a pair of buttons on the control panel. For the single button option, there will be some text or symbol in a very small font on the button or below it. If you need to press two buttons, there will be a line between then with a symbol in the middle. The symbol can be a padlock or a baby's face.
Please add a comment with the make and model of your washing machine to get the exact location of the child lock buttons and how long to press it/them.
hi. CL normally means the child lock is active. look for a lock symbol, either next to a button, or in the middle of a line connecting 2 buttons on the front of your machine. press and hold the button(s) for five-10 seconds until the CL goes off. hope this helps
Thats your check engine light.
Depending on the problem it could be a "no BiG deal" or a real BIG deal.
go to autozone and they can check to see what the error codes are that may help identify the problem.
It means the
Child Lock feature which locks the controls is turned on. Look for the two console buttons, usually adjacent, with the lock
and child symbols between them like the one shown below. Press and hold those buttons simultaneously until the CL light turns off to unlock the controls.
The CL is letting you know that the door was closed. If it continues to show CL it means you need to close and latch before the cycle will run. If it just flashes your okay.
it means you have no back up battery installed to save time/date info. I know on the GL2 if you open the LCD screen there is another small plastic tab you can open and insert a relatively small battery. Do it and the icon will disappear. Otherwise its no big deal. If you dont need time/date stamps on your tapes then there is no need to install the battery unless you are just annoyed.
