You don't say what kind of computer you have.
If it's a desktop (tower) computer look at the rear edge of the side panel. Usually, the side panel wraps around on to the rear panel slightly, and there should be a couple of screws you can loosen which will allow you to slide the side backward a little then lift it off. Take the computer outdoors if possible and use a can of compressed air to blow out the dust. Be sure to spray at the fans and especially at the fan and heatsink fins of the cpu (and the graphics card if one is installed).
Replace the side panel and tighten the screws to complete the job.
There are many videos on Youtube that will show you how to do this!
If computer case tower housing you normally remove screws around perimeter at back then slide the covers back a little bit to unhook from chassis.
