What model Acer Laptop? I got one in December of 2007and have had a blast with it.

Had to reformat it twice, but because of my own stupidity, not anything Acer had done.

They're making good equipment these days.

But (IMHO) be careful not to buy one that had been made by Gateway or eMachines, before Acer bought those companies and slapped their labels on the hardware!.

The only viable trouble shooting option I have available on this current issue is to restore the ipod touch using itunes. Just in case you are unsure of how to do a restore, I have included step by step instructions below.
