When choosing a destination, the address of the place I was actually at was blank, and when I typed in the address of where I wanted to travel to, it just kept searching and searching. Thankfully the store I was at had wifi and I was able to connect to it and the Uber app worked fine...but I did have an incident where I was at work and needed to use Uber for a ride home...well, it didn't want to work without wifi, where usually it is fine, and my co-worker was nice and gave me a ride home...but anyway, I don't know what I did to have the Uber app not work when there is no wifi, when every other time before, it has worked fine...Can anybody help me, please??

What about your desktop pc? Have you checked the services on it to make sure it is not broadcasting DHCP? Also, think about switching over to Stealth Mode (Non-broadcast SSID) instead of MAC filtering. MAC filtering can be cummbersome and if it is just you, then do away with it.

When my 700 does not appear to be working properly, I go into the configure screen and set the GPS current loaction to where I am,that usally corrects the problem immeadiatly.
You can tell iPhone is connected to the Internet over a cellular data network if you see

in the status bar at the top of the screen.
Do you have problems connecting to any other wireless network with your iPhone?
Have you tried using the forget this network option on your iPhone for your wireless network followed by trying to connect to the network again, and/or using the reset network settings option on your iPhone which erases all previously saved wi-fi connections that you have successfully connected to with your iPhone?

make sure your not connected to a wifi connection with a password, or in the interm, just use the internet off 3g if you have it, or edge networks.
