As far as I am aware there is no such thing as a Factory Reset Code otherwise every burglar in the world would be using it. You can ask Sentry Safe, but they charge and you need a signed affidavit that the safe is yours, and the serial number, BUT your husband has changed it.
You can use the key to open it, they all have a key in case the battery goes flat.
Or you can just open it with a rare earth puck magnet. They are not at all secure!
Yes, of course. Call customer service at Century and ask for customer service. They'll tell you how if you have the precise model and perhaps serial number of thee unit of which you speak. Google their number.
Open your Sentry safe by typing the five-digit factory code (found in your owner's manual) on the keypad. It's always a good idea to change your combination while the safe is open, so that you don't inadvertently lock yourself out.
Delete any existing codes by pressing the "P" key and entering the factory code, followed by "00000." On older safes, press the "PROG" key and entering your factory code twice to delete old codes.
Press the "PROG" or "P" key again on your Sentry safe's keypad.
Enter your safe's five-digit factory code.
Enter a five-digit code of your choosing within 5 seconds. This is your user code. While the factory code cannot be changed, your user code can be changed as often as you like, and that should be your primary code to open the safe. Only you should know your safe's factory code.
Retype the user code to verify it is working, and then close the safe.
hi. the factory code for sentry safes would normally be 00000. if this does not work you may have to contact Sentry with the safe model and serial number . these are normally found on a label on the back of the safe, or a label on the front edge of the safe.
First, find your safe’s Serial Number. The Serial Number is printed on the small label on the right side of safe ( on paper tag near hinge) or under handle. just note your model # and the serial#. A good locksmith should be able to help you with It
You should have received two skeleton keys when you bought the safe. They will open the safe without the key AND without the code. If you don't have it, the only solution is to get help from Sentry. By following the instructions below, they will send you a skeleton key for your safe.
First, find your safe’s Serial Number. The Serial Number is printed on the small label on the right side of safe (outside). Send this, a notarized letter(last name must be different) stating you are the safe’s owner, and a check or money order or $8.00 (U.S. funds) to:
Sentry Group Dept. 200 882 Linden Ave Rochester, NY 14625-2784
If using a credit card (Visa/MasterCard only), call 1-800-828-1438.
