SOURCE: LCD screen is totally white and absent of color

Sounds like a loose ribbon cable -- the one that connects the screen to the circuitry inside the camera.

Try squeezing the body of the camera near the bottom 'Samsung' logo, to try to snug-up the connection. Brace the front (under the lens) with your index fingers, and press firmly with your thumbs on the back over the logo just under the screen.

You might try squeezing around the other edges of the screen for good measure in case something else came loose.

SOURCE: Samsung i450 totally white screen

Hello Sir, A total white screen is seen usually when the phone's software is corrupted by infection ( Virus, etc ). Or the other reason may be that the phone's software version is outdated and needs to be updated. You have to update the software of the phone which will reset all the info of the phone. If you have the PC Suite, try to retrieve back all stored contacts and data and then update. If you are having difficulty in updating or confused, you can freely take it to a Samsung Service center. They will do it instantly.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.

When i turn on my samsung pl50, a totally white and bright screen appears and its impossible to view anything on that screen. All other functions are working. Its capturing pictures as well. But the...

Sound like a problem with your LCD screen, related with the CCD Image Sensor; since that you can view mode and setting displays, isnt the LCD screenviewer.

The CCD Image Sensor isnt a job that you can do it, I suggest visit your techinician service or apply if has underwarranty.

Good luck.

I purchased a samsung ES70 compact digital camera last year and lately a black line has appeared across the bottom of the screen, could I get rid of it or would i have to purchase a new camera?

Hi,

If the line is only on the display and not also on the photos when you download them to the pc, then you only need to have the LCD display replaced. The screen should cost like ~$20 as you can see here: http://www.aliexpress.com/product-fm/307874294-Replacement-Camera-LCD-Screen-display-for-Samsung-Digimax-S630-S730-S750-D75-NEW-Free-Shipping-wholesalers.html

Operation manual D75

Most of the manuals for Samsung cameras are available online. You could locate them either by going directly to the manufacturer's website and then on to the Support section or by performing a search on Google. The Google search I performed was for "Samsung D75 operation manual" and the first result already provided me the manual: SAMSUNG D75 Operations Manual. Simply click on "Get Manual".

Samsung D75 digital camera. Having taken a clip in movie mode, I have a 'standby' message on the LCD screen. Can't seem to get rid of it to take another clip. When I press shutter button I just get a bleep...

Problem resolved. My own stupid operating fault. It appears that, in movie mode, you don't just press the shutter button to start a shot, you have to hold it down for a moment. Not made clear in user manual, but I should have twigged earlier.
Thanks for your contact/help.
