Bottom of letters in document not printing.

I have had my HP C4180 for a couple years. All of the sudden today when a document is printing directly from any program, the bottom half of all of the letters in every sentence line are cut off. How do I fix this?

My C6180 suddenly takes FOREVER to print a page, even a one-word document which I did as a test. It used to print a page in a couple of seconds,. Now each page takes 30-40+ seconds. Maddening. Help.

You could try the HP support document for your model:

Slow Printing

It is likely that you will need to follow the "Additional Troubleshooting Steps" at the bottom of this page to determine whether the problem is hardware or software related.

How to set font size for each printing or default print font

Font size for printed documents is usually controlled by the application from which you are printing, and not the printer itself.

Good luck.

Hp c4180 custom envelope size problem

Please try the steps mentioned in the link bellow:

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01518768&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1141647.

If not open solution center> Setting> Printer Settings> Print settings and you will find a custom option there and then create a new size and give it a name and when you print from any application you will see the new size reflection in the application( i.e Microsoft word or excel) you are trying to print from.

Good Luck
