Samsung over the range microwave. Model ME17H703SHB Just went dead. no warning, no error messages.
SOURCE: where do I find the error codes?
if this is a counter top you should be able to remove the cover by removing the screws on the back, be aware that a lot of manufacturers use safety bits. about $24. once removed the tech sheet on top should have the codes and solutions

I have same problem. Disconnect the power. Take the 3 screws out of the top of vented front thus exposing 2 screws that hold down the touch pad .remove them and move touch pad out of the front and out of the way. on the extreme top right within the compartment there is a circuit board that has a fuse on it. replace the fuse and try to restart the microwave. if the fuse blows again you have a major problem probably the magnetron. If you need further help call me (403)870 9110.........Ron

There
should be a "mini-manual" (tech sheet) hidden inside the unit
behind the
control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is
very helpful when troubleshooting, testing, and locating
components.
At
our Web site, we have a video
available showing how to remove a typical
over the range control panel assembly in under 5 minutes.
If you don't find your mini-manual,
or if you want to look at it before removing the controller, you can
download it here (just enter your model
number).
You can find
helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full
model number from the tag on the oven here.

to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating

SOURCE: My Samsung microwave model SMH7187STG
E-13 T1 Max time error (oven did not preheat properly).
This can be due to improper power line voltage, a failing thermistor, a
bad damper seal, or possibly a faulty control circuit board. I would first
verify proper operation with the manual, then if it still acts up and if it's in warranty, I would
contact Samsung support. But if it's out of warranty and works
okay otherwise, it may not be serious enough to worry about.
Hope this helps.
