I had the same problem and stumbled onto the solution - go to the \ directory on your device and delete the Facebook.vol file. Then start up the Facebook application again. That fixed the problem for me.

decompress it and copy all the files in the root of the sd card. then turn off the table put the card and turn on the table (with full battery) then wait some 5 min and you will have a new and better operating system.
