How do I pair up my tablet to my Toshiba tv - Toshiba Tablets & eReaders

Make both units have bluetooth enabled, they should find each other and pair up.

Wii remotes are infrared. They cannot be "paired". Pairing is used with Bluetooth or other short range radio frequency protocols.

Pair usually refers to "Pairing" bluetooth devices.
The trouble is... Bluetooth is a slow medium for movie transfer and is limited to around 10 meters (yards)
I used to use an adapter which plugged in to the iPad and the HDMI cable plugged in to the other side of the adapter. Then the HDMI was connected to a Digital TV HDMI input.
But that was way back on iPad 1. (2009)
Now days it's a lot easier.
Simply swipe up from the screens bottom. That reveals the AirPlay icon if you are using the $69 Apple TV2. The ATV is connected to the HDTV via a HDMI cable. Simple & works Great!

An App called Air Video HD on the Tablet allows you to choose a Hard Drive Video File for play back on your HDTV.
The Air Video HD developer provides a free piece of Server software for installation on the computer. This is used to point to the Movie files and serves video to HDTV via the App.

I just noticed you didn't mention which tablet you have, so I guess the above would only apply with iPad. Android would take a different approach depending on what version your using and what hardware platform you have.

Unfortunately with Android products, bluetooth pairing either works or it doesn't. If your particular product isn't pairing correctly, it may get fixed in the future with an Archos firmware update, but at present you'll want to try a different brand of keyboard.

Standard spec doesn't show bluetoooth but if you have a bluetooth dongle yes it is possible but the Windows standard bluetooth driver doesn't do it. There is a better bluetooth driver available on the Toshiba website which works with many hardware devices.

Ok..........well reinstall the drivers if all else fails....

If that doesn't work, MAKE SURE whatever devices you are trying to pair it with...are VISIBLE (it's in each device's bluetooth settings)
