Look for a font that looks like a arrow. Press it till you get to the page that has #,$,@, you should find it there.
You should include the make and model of the printer, it would make troubleshooting easier.
But let’s try this:
Does your printer have a wired connection?
If so, connect it to your router.
Next, does your printer have a web setup ?
Once the printer is connected, check the menu on the printer for the IP address of the wired connection.
eg 192.168.1.101
Type it into your browser and see if you can access a web setup page
Once in the printer setup, you should be able to access the wireless lan settings and enter your wifi credentials.
After you have entered your wifi info, you should be able to disconnect your wired connection and set up your printer.

Hi, I had the same problem. I extracted both cartridges (colour and black), I cleaned both with alcohol and q-tips, I also cleaned in the same way the golden conections of the machine. Reinstalled and works (solved in only 5 minutes).
Important: This problem appeared when I was using the copy function in black and white, not in colour. Thats why I decided to clean BOTH cartridges (the colour one was very clean and black cartridge was the really dirty one).
Don´t ask me why, but it worked. Try cleaning both cartridges.
Hope it would be useful and I appologyze for my english (is not as good as I would like)
Bye

Most likely your Windows is set for the wrong Region and/or Language.
Check and make changes if need. Here is how....
START > CONTROL PANEL > REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE AND OPTIONS
REGIONAL OPTIONS (tab) set Language and County
LANGUAGE (tab) DETAILS (button) Choose Input Language and Keyboard Region
at this point, if you want to toggle between Languages, click the LANGUAGE BAR (button)
ADVANCE (tab) Choose Language/Country
SOURCE: light on. Exclamation mark within a triangle. Printing fine and clear. What does tis symbol mean?
This light is indeed designed to indicate a low toner condition. Its coming on is triggered not by the actual level of toner in the cartridge, but by a software process that estimates toner use. If you are inclined to refill your own cartridges, you can use install a glass fuse in the little clip on the back of the toner cartridge that will reset the counter, and turn out the light, otherwise the light will stay on. The reset process will blow the fuse, so a new fuse is needed each time a cartridge is refilled. Leaving the light lit does not hinder the operation of the printer, so as long as there is still sufficient toner to print, the printer will operate normally.

To connect in a wi-fi network there is an authentication password that are only for authorized body.
To access to password and become an authorized body to access without permission called Hacking witch is illegal so get the password then access otherwise use free access.
