water valve or water presher switch my vote is water valve start washer when water is filling unplug from wall if water is still running it is the water valve if water stops it has to do with presser switch let me know what happens I will walk you threw how to repair thanks
That sounds like you have one of them fancy water saving outfits with a diverter valve that dumps the pump water continuosly over the clothes. Weirdest washer I ever saw. Could be the solenoid that opens the drain pump has failed. Don't know too much about em but I do have the service manual. Post your model number for a more precise answer. If it fills with water and starts the cycle and
the water keeps running in then your water inlet valve on the back where the
water supply comes in is sticking. It needs replacing.
If yo9u were to unplug the machine at that point and the water continues to run in you have a bad water valve. If it stops when yoou unplug it, it may be the timer. Would have to test to see if voltage is present at the valve in the second scenario,. Water valve part# is WH13x10024 @ $51.00
OK, i would do a hard reset by unplugging for 2 minutes. if the problem still exists, this is defiantly a malfunctioning relay. it will have to be replaced.
