Australia has a 230v supply, and the US 110v. The power supply for your charger will indicate what input voltage it can handle. PCs, for example, typically have power supplies that can use anything between 100v and 240v, which means you can take your laptop from country to country without worrying. My Ryobi charger on the other hand says 240v input, so it doesn't have this flexibility - usually it wouldn't need to. If yours says 110v then you'll need a converter for it to function properly in Australia.

SOURCE: Makita DC18RA Li-Ion 18V Battery Charger

Most likely, but unless the transformer blew, which is somewhat unlikely, a good repair shop should be able to fix it. Basically the charger unit is a transformer, some diodes to convert ac into dc, and some sensing circuitry to tell you when the battery is done charging. Diodes and sensing cisrcuitry are commonly available parts and not expensive. Transformers are expensive. Even if you get it repaired youll still need an adaptor to convert from the mains 240 to the 120 that the charger wants to see. Get one with a high enough wattage for the charger. Wattage is printed on charger base.

SOURCE: Can I leave my Ryobi P113 charger with a P103

Yes you can that is an automatic charger when it is fully charged it shuts down the charging portion but keeps the charged light lit however this does not effect the battery.

We brought our Panasonic 60 inch vierra 3D tv from Australia can I change the country’s setting on it?

Sorry it's not that simple, both Astralian and North American TV's run on the same voltage 120v, but the digital tuners are completly different. Australian uses DVB-T, and North America uses ATSC. That means they are complete incompatible with each others broadcast signals. You could use your Australian PS4, and other Australian digital video devices, but to be honest, you should look at buying a North American TV if you plan on staying for a while.

My Ryobi 36v battery is showing charge yet it is not powering the product, lights indicating charge don’t. Highlight when inserted into 2 different tools

test the battery with DMM-Digital Multi-Tester. when full charge a 36V battery measures 37-38 Volts. if battery is full charge the problem is your electric drill bring it to service center maybe need to replace carbon brush or the motor.

I am in Canada and I cannot get a Black & Decker 36V charger which is LCS36. The B & D 36V battery looks identical to the Dewalt 36V battery but I cannot be positive. Do you know if the B & D LBXR36...

What I do know is that some NiCd 12V Black decker batteries that look similar to the dewalt ones they are charged by the dewalt charger.
But there are 12V Nicd black and decker batteries that they can not be charged due to an extra plastic edge that does not allow to be charged by the dewalt charger.
Now if you do have the dewalt lithium 36V charger and if the black and decker battery is a 36V lithium one and can not be charged due to a plastic edge then I would recommend to risk to destroy the plastic edge in order the black and decker battery to be charged.

Wii sports resort brought in america for present in england but will not work will it only work in america or is there anything we could do. many thanks.

Do not think so as the television standards in England are different that in North America. I suspect that it will not work in France either as those standards are different. When the games are decoded, they are decoded for the American standard. You could offer it on E-bay for some one to purchase or perhaps exchange it for an English version

Slides not working nor the power jack

Did you wire them in circuit? (hot lead to positive on 1st batt, which jumps to the neg on 2nd batt, and neg lead going to neg post on 1st batt, then to positive on 2nd batt) That would be for a 24v system, for a 36v you would continue to the opposite posts again.

Charger not charging

Just was on a website for Ryobi drills and it states that if the yellow and green light stay on for more than 15 minutes the battery is fried. Couldn't find the link but if you do a search for Ryobi Drill 18 volt you should find the same info. It was as product review from Australia I think.

I also have a problem with the charging of Ryobi batterys. They seem to charge AOK with the green light coming on but the charge does not last at all. Not sure if the problem is with the batteries on the charger.
