It depends on the operating system. In WinXp right click on a free spase at your desktop > properties > settings > resolution bar

What king of hookups do you have for the wii? Component? a/v? If they are red white and yellow and are hooked up to tv, some tvs have multiple a/v hookups. Be sure you're on the right channel

Those power bricks are pretty generic. Look at the back, take note of the watts and the voltage to be sure, and then you can go to radioshack and buy a noname brand one that will do the job
