My smart tv is beside my computer. My computer have a cheap dlink wifi adaptor and get 85% signal. my tv signal is so weak I have signal or none at all. Is it the same as most laptop adaptors? Can anyone reconmend a good adaptor to put in?
Just get a WiFi extender...this will definitely increase the signal..the tv adapter is generally built-in, but the software might be upgradeable...cheers
I'll go buy one tomorrow.

what the adviser meant was your pc cannot provide enough power to the usb port to power the unit, assuming you have tried other ports and it still wont work; you will need to either purchase a pci usb 2.0 card adapter or purchase a mains powered usb hub and connect to this instead.

Here's the only place I know that sells them:
http://stores.ebay.com/LCDPAYLESS_LCD-monitor-Power-Supply_W0QQcolZ2QQdirZQ2d1QQfsubZ2195941QQftidZ2QQtZkm
It seem to be the #1 common problem with the Protron TV.
It maybe cheaper to find someone to fix the power supply, but if you get it from LCDPAYLESS, make sure it has some type of warranty on it. I hate to see anyone pay $130 and it only last a couple of months.
