How do I remove a DVD from the player. remote has no buttons for this.

Depends on the type of DVD player you have. If it’s a portable, you may be able to push down on the top cover and it should open. If it’s in a computer tray see if there’s a little pinhole that you can stick a needle in and cause it to release. If it’s neither of those two types, then you should look on the console for a triangle with a bar underneath and press that button when the power is on.

There should be a tiny hole near the tray, stick a straightened paper clip in the hole and push till the tray opens..

SOURCE: Which button do I push to remove a disc from the DVD Player with my Universal GE Remote? My JVC TV/DVD Combo has no buttons and the Disc is in it. I have lost my original Remote.

in the time it took to write this you could've pressed each button to find out,if none work,then you need to program a different number for the dvd player,not all codes operate every player

How can I change the region on my Toshiba SD K860?

1. Power on the DVD player
2. Press the Open/close button on your remote control to open the drive tray and remove any disk
3. Press 2403960
4. Press 9 for multi-region playback. DO NOT Press Enter button on your remote control
5. You will see a 9 (region-free) on the TV (right corner)
6. Press the Open/close button on your remote control to close the drive tray
7. Power off the DVD player
8. Power on the DVD player and it is region free.

One or more button of the remote may be sticky and touching together.
If this happened, the remote will not work.
Remove the batteries and press all of the buttons at least 2 times.
This will free up all the buttons.
Install batteries and try remote.
