Does the machine show up on your computer - you can print?
do you see it in scanners and cameras in start - control panel -> scanners and cameras? what is the status shown there on the properties?
There is the network twain driver available on their website

it may work with usb or similiar connection but I believe it is ment for network useage with a network cable.

The printer and fax show up, no problem. The scanner does not show up when I go to control panel, and when I try to find downloaded driver when "adding scanner" from control panel, no *.inf shows up. When I go to Adobe Acrobat, the software says "Cannot find scanner."
The printer is connected via a USB cord. The computer is connected to the Internet via my wireless network.
Oh, and this is the driver that I already downloaded.
I am in the middle of an online class right now (multitasking) - can we try this on Saturday?

I think that a LAN connection (or a wireless card) is required for the Aficio 1515 to send e-mails via fax, and the TWAIN function operates over a network, as you had suspected. I think I will bring it in locally so that I can get a wireless card.
