Same F2, quick off problem here. Then I noticed that the gray plug on the power cord was not completely flush with the connector on the pad. I shoved them together until there is no gap. The unit's worked perfectly since then.

SOURCE: Sunbeam Heating pad will not reset

I have a Sunbeam heating pad with the SW204 controller that the High light blinks when it is plugged in. I called Sunbeam and the first thing they said is it cannot be plugged into a surge protector. Next, to reset it unplug it from the wall, then unplug the controller from the heating pad. Wait 30 seconds, then plug the controller back into the heating pad and then into the wall. It did the trick. However, when I move it to the bedroom plug it does the same blinking. Sunbeam is sending me a replacement heating pad. They appear to be very good with Customer Service since it is more than a year old.

I set up the cover and turned on. the green on lite is flashing and there is no heat i do have it on high and it now will not turn off by the button.

Why is My heating pad flashing F it's not that old. I've tried in many outlet, but still does it

Hello, Pat -

You have not stated the manufacturer name of your heating pad. Knowing that will help in providing you the right information.

I have found complaints about a Sunbeam King Size XpressHeat heating pad, with statements from the owners about an F appearing on the temperature display for the heating pad and the pad no longer heating.

In case yours is a Sunbeam King Size XpressHeat heating pad, see the complaints here:
https://www.sunbeam.com/pain-relief/heating-pads/sunbeam-king-size-xpressheat-heating-pad/002013-511-MASTER.html
Scroll down the page to see the Reviews.

I hope you saved the instructions which came with your heating pad and the sales receipt. The pad may still be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Most companies require a copy of the sales receipt when an owner needs warranty coverage.

You can add more information by choosing Comment and typing in details (maker and model number) for your heating pad.

Best wishes.

Sunbeam heating pad model 828-511 is showing F2 on controller

Hello, Pat -

I can only find that the F2 error code means there is "a problem;" not what the problem is.

I suggest you go to this Sunbeam web page for your model of heating pad:
http://www.sunbeam.com/pain-relief/back-and-spine/sunbeam-microplush-body-shaped-heating-pad-with-digital-lcd-controller/000828-511-002.html

You should see a link for "Live Chat" on the right side of the page. Click or tap on "Live Chat" to text with a Sunbeam Customer Service Representative. He or she should be able to explain the F2 error code and what can be done to correct it.

Best wishes.

I need instructions on operating a remote to Sunbeam,Cal-King, electric mattress pad.

Which model Sunbeam mattress pad do you have? Sunbeam has some of their manuals here: http://www.sunbeam.com/manuals.aspx . The electric bedding share a manual. The direct link is http://www.sunbeam.com/BeddingManuals/SunbeamBedding/Universal.pdf .Make sure that you are using the master control for your side of the bed (that's the one closest to the plug for the wall outlet).

You may need to turn on the second control and set it to 0 at night. If you still are having a problem with the heat being uneven, you might need a replacement mattress pad. I know we've replaced several electric blankets or mattress pads due to problems with the control/uneven heat.

I hope this helps.
