Error display is cleared when unplugged for a minute,
reason for code... In the event that the current detected by the EMG port is 20 A or higher It stops and the display window shows "E6".

SOURCE: OE error code

error code OE simply means “the pump is blocked”. Presumably the water isn’t being emptied properly.

I had the same problem. I ended up paying $300 ($100 part $200 labour) for an authorized technician to replace the control board and that fixed the problem.

Error code e6 for sinotec top loader washing machine
Oddly, the user manual does not list an error code e6. Rather, it stops at error code e5. Sinotec is a South African company and its home webpage mentions service centers there. I find no online reference to this particular error code for this brand.
