I have a Panasonic Vierra TX32LXD700 LCD tv and have mounted it on the wall but cannot remove the base stand.
There's a little more elaboration required on the above post...You need to remember that the base has two long pins that go up into the TV. These pins are held in by two screws each. The screws are on each side of the TV (two vertical inline screws, inside a small inset section). Remove all four screws and the TV will come up off the base. Pull it straight and gently, but firmly, to unseat it from the pins.
This is EXACTLY RIGHT!!! I have Viera Plasma and the stand is identical set-up!
YOU ROCK gacba!!!
Thank you so much! You explained it perfectly and we FINALLY got it out after reading your post!
Thank you so much. We followed your directions and we were able to successfully remove it. Sure was a pain until I found your posting.

Took me a while to find this. Remove the two lowest screw, holding on the plastic back, in the centre and it drops out. -- Andrew
