That model doesn't come up,that could be the serial number,do you know that when the dryer is in self clean it gets up to 1000 degrees, when it gets this hot it can do damage to the electronics in the oven, from what i've seen on other peoples ovens i will never use the self clean again, but to answer your question remove the racks and clean them in the sink or you can soak them in the tub, whatever is easier for you.i get in there with an sos and scrub,if any spills are big on the floor i wet it and let it sit for a minute or two and scrape it out with a putty knife or you can use a spatula,if it's really bad easy off is made safe for most self clean ovens now, don't put tin foil on the oven floor when you cook,it can damage the floor,so watch out for that.kenmore doesn't make anything so you need the model number to see who made the stove,if you open the drawer under the oven door, look on the left or right side of the frame and you'll see a tag with the model and serial numbers,go here, put your model number in and you can look up the manual for your stove.hope this helps you out.

SOURCE: self cleaning oven directions

Press the self-clean button.  The panel becomes blank(---), then press the up arrow( ^ ).  The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the self-cleaning.  Good luck, ya'll!

SOURCE: Electrolux Icon Oven won't self clean - "Remove Racks" displayed

I was getting the remove rack error until I finally figured out what it wanted me to remove. When you say you removed the rack supports, do you mean just the sliding parts or the whole side metal rack support? At first I thought they were bolted in, but I read somewhere that they come out, too. Upon further investigation, I found the rack supports just slide into the side walls at 4 points. I had to use a little force to pull them out, but they came out and my oven is self-cleaning as I write this. I just thought I would share in case you or others haven't figured it out yet. Now I will just have to see how hard it is to get them back in...

yes. open the oven door to the first "click". it kind of stops about a quarter of the way open. most ovens you grab both sides of the oven door and pull up. some models have a couple of screws you have to take out before you can remove the oven door. then lay it down with the insie of the door facing up and take out all the screws holding the oven door together. some may be on the sides or the top and bottom of the door. when apart, clean first with easy off, then clean several times with windex till streaks are gone. assemble door in reverse and put back on stove.

How do you use the self-cleaning ??? i lost my manual within minutes of getting....

we have a sears kenmore model and this is how we do it. remove everything from stove including the racks, close oven door, slide door lock latch to the right till it locks the door. turn knob to clean. when it is done cleaning it will turn off by itself. on some models the door latch will not slide open when done. just wait for it to cool if this is the case. it should tell on the touch pad on stove the hours that it takes to clean it. good-day !

My oven door is locked. It is not cleaning. I have tried turning off the breaker. help i have a turkey to put in the oven. Is there a sequence of buttons I can push to unlock it?

Hello,

Here are some solution on how to unlock the door of your oven ans do self cleaning below.

IF you can locate the model number tag (bottom left of door opening) you can look up the manual at www.geappliances.com
The only button on your stove that should make the door lock would be the clean button (self clean model) if that is pressed simply hit the clear/off or cancel key and wait for the door to unlock. IF the self clean option ran for an hour or so, you will have to wait for the oven to cool down before the lock can unlock (safety feature).
hope this helps you out please rate this solution it helps get better results for our customers like you

Here are solution on how to clean up your oven below.

Self Cleaning
  • 1 Remove oven racks and soak them in soapy water.
  • 2 Turn on your automatic oven cleaner; this usually entails locking the door and turning the function switch to "clean."
  • 3 Let the oven do its work;it will heat for several hours, charring off baked-on foods.
  • Fast Cleaning
  • 1 Remove oven racks and place them in soapy water to soak.
  • 2 Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
  • 3 Turn the oven off and spray the inside with oven cleaner.
  • 4 Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
  • 5 Wipe the cleaner and dirt away with a damp sponge, rinsing frequently.
  • 6 Dry with a soft cloth.
